Escentric 01

To mark 20 years of Escentric Molecules, Escentric 01 is now available in a 200ml edition - it’s the scent you love, maxed out in scale. 

Escentric 01 200ml debuts with a new design detail: a weighty cap, precision-engineered in anodised aluminium with CNC-engraved circle detailing. The internal fitment is crafted from silicone, friction-fitted to the screw-thread pump for a seamless, secure closure. 

A nod to Escentric Molecules’ design-led aesthetic, the cap adds a tactile, architectural finish, elevating the flacon into an object of desire. Still minimalist, but more luxurious. 

Escentric 01 is a love letter to Iso E Super - a molecule that didn’t exist until it was created in a lab at IFF in 1973. Cocooning, woody and inexplicably addictive, Iso E Super hovers close to the skin to create an aura rather than a trail, radiating from the wearer in a way that’s hard to pin down.

In Escentric 01, master perfumer Geza Schoen used this super molecule at 65% of the formula, an extreme concentration surrounded by a tight edit of 18 ingredients designed to draw out its fresh, radiant and sensual facets. 

The opening spark of lime peel and pink pepper leads into a heart of green jasmine bud and orris, anchored by balsamic notes and clean musk in the base that lingers. Quietly magnetic, never shouty.

“With Escentric 01, I made the scent that I would want to wear myself,” says Geza. “I wanted to create something unconventional, not too perfumistic - something for my friends who said they didn’t like fragrance.”
